Jim Harney the Musician

Biography

Jim Harney began on the alto saxophone like many young kids in the 5th grade. While in High School, he added the tenor, baritone and soprano saxophones to his arsenal of instruments as well as flute, clarinet and bass clarinet. He has since gone on to study music as an undergraduate and graduate student and has played professionally for over 20 years. Expanding his musical abilities to include keyboards, drums and electric bass guitar, Jim has had the unique opportunity to perform on several instruments with many different types of musical groups.
